I'm a big gestures kind of gal. I either love something, or I loathe it with the heat and intensity of a million EZ-Bake Ovens. For example, I could probably subsist on nothing but cheese, while I positively abhor whoever decided that it would be a splendid idea to be out of bed before the sun comes up. I enjoy adding a new word to my vocabulary everyday, but typos make me twitch. High atop my list of things I love would be my camera, and everything I'm able to do with it. I love being able to capture moments in a person's life when they feel the same exhiliration, joy, and love as I do every time I pick up my camera. I love being able to show the rest of the world what I see when I look at it.
The cliche goes that "a picture is worth a thousand words", but I don't think that statement really does it justice. Each individual image is a memory of a moment; a part of your story, which I cannot wait to help you tell!

Melissa Ragan is a wedding and portrait photographer based in the Upstate of South Carolina. In addition to being a photo diva extraordinaire, she also enjoys musical theatre, attempting to cook things without setting off the fire alarm, time with her family, and being an old, married lady. She does not, however, enjoy referring to herself in the third person.
