Greenville Wedding Photographer : Television

Before me, Steven wasn’t really much of a TV person.  There were a few things that he sort of semi kept up with, but he probably could have gotten by just fine without even having a television set in house.  Then you have me, who would schedule all the events of her week around Grey’s Anatomy and Glee.  So I suppose it was only fitting that Steven initially used American Idol as a way of talking to me.  He joked while we were at a mutual friend’s party that he loved the show, but always forgot to tune in (because, uh, that’s really easy to do).  Me, being the responsible gal that I am, sent him a page long email the following Tuesday, complete with a link to a really great recapper, so he could be up to speed.  He replied asking me if it would be okay to text me during the show…just in case he got confused on what his opinion should be.  That was the night that he first asked me out.

What I didn’t know then was that Steven never watched anything on Tuesday regularly, because he had class.  Every single Tuesday evening.  And I suppose that may have been the best skip of his academic career, because it ultimately got him married.  But the delightful box with all the moving pictures still holds a dear place in our hearts, especially since we discovered the awesomeness that is Netflix.  On days that we’re too tired to form actual words, we can cuddle up and watch a show on dvd before we completely zonk out.  Our latest venture has been the show, Chuck.  I dare say that we are a little obsessed.  Especially now that we finished the second season, and SEASON 3 DOESN’T COME TO DVD UNTIL SEPTEMBER!!!  I don’t want to know what happens from all the recaps I can read.  We don’t want to try to make our pitiful, slow, arthritic Internet play episodes.  We want it in our mail RIGHT NOW.  So, um Warner Bros…if you could hook a sister up and make that release date be, like next week, that’d be awesome.  And everyone else…what can we watch now?

Before the Great Heat Plague of 2010 hit us, I met up with Sara and Matt for their engagement session.  They got engaged in the mountains, so it seemed only fitting that we did their session in that area.  The views were gorgeous, and it was a balmy 70 degrees...ahhh...

We started out at Pretty Place because, well, um, it's pretty.

Work it, Sara!

My favorite!  Random fact for you: Steven fell off of Bald Rock once.  Obviously, he lived and is fine, but he and another student were stuck waiting for rescue workers for about an hour...
